Here she is on her big day. She is wearing a special birthday crown made for her by Hannah's teacher Ms. Jordan.
She is adorable in her tutu outfit. She wasn't so sure about the boxes and wrapping though.
So, Hailey did what any girl in her situation would do, she called for back-up. Hannah and Joey were more than happy to help with the presents!
She thought she would go visit Daddy instead of deal with all the gifts. After all, she does have "people" for that task!
Here is her cupcake tree and yes of course it was pink! Her sister Hannah was in charge of selecting the decor for this event!
And here she is, ready for the cupcake dive! She is stylin' in her cute little bib from her Auntie Diana and her diaper!
She had no idea what she was in for. I'm sure she wondered why we were all singing to her!
She was dainty and polite at first. Like a proper little lady should be!
That didn't last long though. She was starting to come out of her shell just a little bit.
Then things got a little messy as she discovered these cupcake things are pretty tasty!
She really enjoyed herself. She probably thought the cupcakes were way better than gifts!
Needless to say what came after this was a bath! I think she had a blast on her first birthday. She still has one more day of celebration to go though. We are having a triple celebration tomorrow for Hailey, Bayleigh and Colton since they were all born so close together and their mommies went through pregnancy together. It's been so much fun watching them grow and change over this past year. We can't wait to celebrate!!
